I treated my mother-in-law and myself to a Hidden Sanctuary Experience for 2. The spa itself is bright and airy, and although there were quite a few other customers wandering around with their spa robes, there's a separate section of the spa for the Hidden Sanctuary Experience. It was lovely having our own private treatment rooms for the scrub and massage, plus our own hot pool where we enjoyed our tea and fruit between the scrub and massage. I was expecting more than just a couple of slices of orange for the fruit offering though. The treatments were spot on, although the sleep pod turned out to be a king sized bed to share, rather than individual beds/loungers as I expected, and the temperature was way too hot to comfortably nap. It would've also been better to have private shower facilities (rather than having to use the general shower/changing facilities by the reception area).

The hotel is very relaxed and all the staff are helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and we had plenty of space. If you book in the summer and you have a garden room ask for a fan as the room has no air conditioning and unless you are comfortable sleeping with the patio door open you can only open the window slightly which meant the room was very hot. My massage was fantastic and the chill area was exactly what I needed after it. The pool and steam room, sauna ect were clean and never too busy. The restaurant offered a good range of food and our 3 courses from the set menu were delicious. In the morning breakfast was good and there was plenty to choose from. I would recommend this hotel.

Spent a great overnight deal here with breakfast. We upgraded to a beautiful garden room which really made the break special. I booked a double and was given a twin but a staff member remade the room so that they became a double. This was done almost immediately, and was a only slight problem. But it didn't last long! Was overjoyed to be told it was an adult only zone. I have had so many spa breaks ruined by 3 hour child swimming clubs. The room was spotless, the Prosecco a nice touch. The spa, even when busy felt uncrowded and I have never been to a spa with THREE changing areas!! Perfect, no crowding and waiting for space. Immaculate grounds I wandered in for ages, a lovely juice bar/cafe. Gorgeous breakfast with real vine tomatoes, not tinned, and sausages full of meat not filling. Every tiny detail has been thought through and it shows. Guests are made to feel special without going over the top and the spa is luxurious without being stuffy or snobby. They also have the best relax area I have ever seen, large double beds with separate walls and curtains for each, other spas could learn from them, (some loungers stuck in room does not a chill out zone make)!! This is a spa first, hotel second, so a mostly female clientele, giving it a relaxed health farm feel, but without exorbitant prices. I am in love... and have already booked my second staycation for next week, after visiting one week ago. One very happy customer :)

Very enjoyable the only thing I missed was the electric massage chairs you used to have in the lounge, especially as I had told my sister how good they were and she was looking forward to using relaxing in it

I took my Mum away here for her 60th Birthday and had a wonderful time. The ONLY thing I would have preferred when we arrived would have been a tour of the facilities, as we only found the relaxation room (AMAZING) on the second day and had to find the locker rooms etc all by ourselves. The champagne and chocs were a lovely treat when we arrived and the couples massage was the best I have ever had. Rooms are rather basic but other than that are fine/clean and tidy etc. I had a Decleor facial the next day and mum had a Wax pedicure, hers was amazing, mine was so-so. But overall, would definitely come back, food was wonderful, spa was lovely and relaxing. I would definitely recommend!

Set in beautiful surroundings. Fantastic facilities, staff and atmosphere. The couples massage was exactly what me and my girlfriend need. Definitely worth the 2 hour drive from London.
