I went for a spa weekend with the other lady who wrote a review, & i was equally unimpressed. We were eventually given a room each after not been booked in at all. Which felt like they were doing us a favour. There was no robe or slippers in one room, which was down to a 'problem with house keeping', apparently. We were given a 'complimenatary afternoon tea' on the Sunday, as the Hotel Spa was fully booked so we could not have a treatment. How's that complimentary when the price we paid includes a 30 min treatment?? Very poor organisation from both Wahanda & St Anne;s Hilton. We arrived in the bar area on Sunday where we could see our afternoon tea sat on the bar. This sat there for at least 20mins, with guests being served at the bar & talking to the waiter over our food. Then to top it all off, we were given a disclaimer to sign, when we asked if we could take some food home!!! I take it the Hotel has had a 'problem' in the past and are covering there back. Very disapointed with Wahanda, the Hotel, & the so called service we received. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Would never book through Wahanda again, the fact you have to join up to write a review says it all. They just want to bombard you with emails everyday. (I wonder will they even post this) The hotel had not even received our booking so we had to sit and wait for one hour whilst they called Wahanda and then tried to 'fit us in' All the treatments were fully booked that weekend yet the Wahanda website do not communicate or even have a price list for the treatments The hotel - all I'll say is you dont get what you pay for. Three course dinner is a buffet, hoards of guests rushing to fill their plates like there will never be another meal meant the hotel couldnt replenish quick enough so you didnt really get anything (the chef was nice as dessert had all run out he russled us up an apple crumble and custard) You have to book for dinner (no one told us) then they made a big fuss making us feel like we might have to find a mc donalds and infact they were only talking about a ten min wait. (crazy) Service was poor - the most experienced person on the front desk told us he'd only been there 4 months and he was the most senior! seems I've run out of space now. Lucky them. Dont use Wahanda and dont expect anything from this hotel except dirty cups and I dont really care attitude.
