On the whole the experience was good, and value for money. At times it was a bit noisy around the pool as there were children in it and made swimming difficult. I paid extra for a 30 minute facial but was only 20 minutes.
Staff were excellent. Hannah who did the back massage was brilliant I think that she may have converted me to massage. The lunch was very good. We could not get a lounger early and could not get simultaneous bookings for the treatment otherwise it was excellent value and I intend buying it for my friends as presents
We had some lovely staff help to fit us in for treatments on the day we booked as we didn't realise that we needed to call the venue to secure treatment times, they ended up splitting our treatments to fit us in which was really good of them...unfortunately the place was far too busy due to over subscription. We were unable to sit on a lounger as they were all taken, the poolside was very cramped and hot. There was confusion over what treatments we were having (other guests had experienced similar issues, with one receiving a foot massage rather than a facial) and the back massage I received was frantic & not relaxing at all. During the treatments the towels used were threadbare & scratchy & detracted from the enjoyment of the treatment. By late afternoon, towels & robes were piled all over the changing rooms. There seemed to be a lot of staff around but they were not particularly attentive, including when we went to the bar to order coffees & 3 members of staff walked by me & proceeded to join into an ongoing conversation rather than serve me. Disappointing day as it was a birthday gift for a friends 40th.
