The spa is overcrowded so the hot tubs and steam rooms were full and the swimming pool floor area was not clean. The staff are few and far between so rushing around and we were subsequently late to our treatment - which still ended on time. And my massage took place in a room attached to the reception desk, so you could hear everyone and everything going on - not exactly relaxing. The lady that did the treatment was lovely.

The booking process was all really easy, however... The hotel is undergoing major refurbishments which was not mentioned at any stage during the booking. The pool area was quite cramped and there weren't enough loungers for the number of people there. The swimming pool is divided into three lanes and a shallow children's pool so there was no where to just chill out in the pool. There was a queue for the hot tub all day. The treatment was good and the therapist was nice. Afternoon tea was good.

Lovely spa day but had a lot of emails advising changes Which reverted leading up to day, staff not on time for massage and didn’t ask about pillows during massage, just managed so not the most comfortable massage which defeated the purpose. Staff very friendly though and afternoon tea very nice. Facilities ok.
